Firstly select the types of Leave the employee is entitled to accrue by using the check boxes, see below.
Annual Leave •Enter the number of hours to be accumulated each pay week. This is determined by dividing the total number of hours due each year by the number of weeks in a pay year. For example an employee who works a 38 hour week and is entitled to 4 weeks annual leave will accrue 2.923 hours per week. •Enter the percentage rate of Holiday Loading available to this employee. If they are not entitled to Holiday Loading, enter zero. •Accumulated Annual Leave represents the net amount of leave available and is displayed in Hours to the right.
Sick Leave (Personal Leave) •Enter the number of hours to be accumulated each pay week. This is determined by dividing the total number of hours due each year by the number of weeks in a pay year. For example an employee who works a 38 hour week and is entitled to 10 days sick pay will accrue 1.461 hours per week. •Accumulated Personal Leave represents the net amount of leave available and is displayed in Hours to the right.
Long Service Leave •Enter the number of hours to be accumulated each pay week. Additionally LSL can be set to accrue only after the employee has served a specified number of years. •Accumulated Long Service represents the net amount of leave available and is displayed in Hours to the right.
