Edit an existing Item

Item Codes can be edited to change their behaviour, however transactions using that Item Code previously recorded will not take the new behaviour unless the transaction is edited, and the Item Code reselected.

If an item becomes redundant it cannot be deleted, however you can mark it as Inactive meaning that it will no longer appear in selection lists within transactions.  An Inactive item can be viewed in the Item List by ticking Show Inactive Items.
