Edit an existing Payment or Receipt transaction

Once a Cash Payment or Receipt has been created you can edit certain data.  Open the transaction from the Cashbook Register, from the General Ledger Transaction window or from the Bank Reconciliation window.

Change the bank details. Note if the receipt formed part of a Bank Deposit that has been banked, you cannot change the bank details.  The transaction must be reversed.

Change the customer details

Change the payment details

Add another line item by pressing the Add Line Item button.  Complete all details and Process.

Delete a line item by pressing the Delete Line Item button.

Additional notes can be added, edited or deleted if required.

Identify associated payments by viewing the Paid field - double-click this field to view the linked payment transactions.

View the entry in the General Ledger by pressing the Journal button.
