To manually change the GST or Tax on a purchase see the below example
In this example we have purchased tea, coffee, milk etc from Woolworths. The total we have spent is $33.00 but as some of the items like milk are GST Free the total GST on the invoice is $2.65.
Tax doesn't equal the GST on the invoice
Before we process this bill, we can click on the "Tax Components" button.
Tick the 'Manual' box, change the tax to 2.65 and click on close. See the screenshot below.
We can now see on the Enter Bills screen that the Tax now equals the GST on the invoice. And the transaction can be processed.
