Task 3: Select a Purchase Layout |
Top Previous Next |
There are 4 types of Purchase layouts each specific to the content: Vehicle Purchase A Vehicle Purchase is generally created from the stock card rather than from the Purchase Invoice. See Purchasing a Stock Item. Item Purchase An Item Purchase is a transaction created to record the sale of something that is not a vehicle stock item, nor does it form part of the sale of a stock item. It might be an inventory item or some other good or service you purchase. It has been created as an Item Code with the attribute "I Buy this Item" selected. General Purchase A General Purchase is neither an item nor a stock item, but something else, and it is likely that an Enter Bill window would be a better option as it is a simpler window to complete. Reconditioning Purchase A Reconditioning Purchase is used to record costs against stock items. Multiple stock items can be selected within one purchase. |
