Transaction Balance

A Transaction Balance report is similar in that the balances are itemised for the entire Chart of Accounts.  However unlike the Trial Balance, the Transaction Balance report only provides a total for the transactions performed within that account for the specified date range.  No opening balances are used at all, and Balance Sheet accounts do not use cumulative balances, simply the sum of all transactions performed during the selected period.

Additionally, Transaction Balance can be run for any date range whatsoever, including date ranges that span multiple financial years.
